Manchester City and Liverpool are the two dominant forces of the Premier League. In the recent years both teams show how much stronger than the rest of the teams they are. Liverpool, in particular, show their strength in the Champions League as well, playing for the trophy in the Paris final on 28th May. On the other hand, Pep Guardiola team, did a very good job in the european journey, but failed to qualify for the final, losing to Real Madrid in semi-final.
The domestic season sees Manchester City in front, with one point over Liverpool and with only one match remaining.
Manchester City will play at Etihad Stadium against Aston Villa, coached by former Liverpool Steven Gerrard. The match sees as clearly favourite the home team, that necessarily need to win in order to not let Liverpool overcome them. So the Manchester team could achieve the 8th title, second in a row.
On the other hand, Liverpool has to win and hope that Manchester City won’t be able to win against Aston Villa. Jurgen Klopp team will play Wolves, that at the moment stay in 8th position.
